Rest Time & Sleep Positions

Soothing music is played during rest time.


Children older than 6 years of age are not required to nap, but they are required to lay quietly. Older children are encouraged to look at books or other quiet activities during this time. You can bring an educational game with a fresh charge & headphones while younger kids are napping.


QUIET TIME 12pm - 3pm 

It is disruptive to our routine if there are visitors at that time.


Parents of little ones appreciate that their child can sleep peacefully without disruption. IF it is necessary for doctors’ appointments and such I prefer pick up before 12 or after 2:30.


SLEEPING POSITIONS FOR BABIES: I practice the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics “back to sleep” method for infants sleeping. This is to help prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
